Naggy Post

Today, I felt very sick. I almost had a blackout (reasons may be due to my recovered asthma which the doctor say may have a relapse[better not]) or because of *that*. I recovered a few minutes later. And well, it didn't help, at all. I got headaches all the way. Mild to serious ones. And now, at home, it persists. By saying this, It is not to show how resilient I am. I am also proud to say to those who cannot stand little setbacks and had to make it a big matter, I am much more reslient than you. At least I knew I am responsible for my own work.
Well, Chinese went off well. Guojian and Voonjin is finally quiet (they were doing their homeworks)!!! Actually more noise more good. More life in class:D. So after that was English, that went slacking. We have done our presentation and I was busy commenting about the others. Well, only two groups copied our one and only ideas. Evan's group copied on the reflection and Jinyuan's group on the description of picture. After the whole thing, I still thought mine was better, not because I am shameless, but my group did really well. This is my picture and the story:
It was a typical Sunday afternoon. My family and I decided to spend our afternoon at one of Singapore’s well known tourist attraction, Sentosa. The light howls of the wind sounded rhythmical in my ears. We were having lots of fun playing beach volleyball together…
… when suddenly, piercing screams of the tourists filled our ears and they started running away hastily. We looked around, aghast by the noise and the reaction of tourists, and to our horror, we heard gunshots ringing in the air. We stood rooted to the ground for a moment, and plunged straight towards for shelter where everyone was running to. I was terrified . ‘ Oh no ! Not again ? … …’ I still remember the incident vividly in my mind. It was just a few months back when I was in Mumbai . I was having my nap at the Mumbai hotel when suddenly I heard the similar sounds . Piercing screams, ringing of gunshots and everything... I jump up from my sleep just when someone forced into my room and held me as a hostage . He then brought me to another room where there is more hostages , I was reminded time after time not to do anything unnecessary. A lady beside me who was frightened screamed loudly, so loud that my ear drums were on the verge of bursting. I looked at her furiously and mumbled angrily, “Could you please keep your cool?” but none of this words went into her head. Not wanting to endanger my life as those people may come anytime and notice the hassle, I stood up with my hands tight to the back, and gave her a kick on her head. It worked, but the lady suffered head injuries and blood started to stain her clothes. I was glad with my ‘masterpiece’ and so, were the others in the room who were too exhausted to move. After a couple of hours, local policemen rushed in and quickly brought us to a safe place out of danger zone. It was miraculous on how I survived the ordeal and I later heard from the local policemen that one of the lady hostages was suffering a head injury which had led to concussions. I could not imagine I was going through a similar ordeal again. We bent down and hid under one of the reception counter, not even having the courage to take a deep breadth.
As I peeped outside, I could saw some people laying on the ground, who seemed to have suffered gunshots. A couple of minutes later, we heard announcements made by some of the police officers that they were having an exercise. Everyone felt relieved.

Reflections:
žReferring back to the picture, our group strongly agrees that there should be such exercises. Just like the main character in the story, who did not experience any such ordeals before the Mumbai terrorist attacks, she hurt someone out of impatience for that person to stop the nonsensical act. Activities like this can train Singaporeans to be well-ordered and to be more patient if such ordeals were to strike Singapore.
See! Good right? It was supposed to be 100words only. Ended up I wrote and typed (with Jasmin and Fathin's help) and ended to be like an essay. So for the reflection done today in class, we wrote that we liked our own group a lot. I know it is quite UNhumble, but yoou know, efforts and hardwork do pays off. So much for the excellent work we had.
C.E lessons were alright. Sexuality Education about choices and consequences and did group work too. Time was spent wisely. And even got sweet:D
Lunch break was when my headache starts to excruciate. But it was better than now. We had biology afterwards, so we slacked the way through and were even left some time. The fact that CCAs are suspended really made *kids* enthusiastic.
Biology lessons in learning hub. Was planning to find Heng Tai and sit but my friends called me to where they were. I was so ODD-ONE-OUT. Further known as the O to the power of 3 (O³). But it was quite fun, sitting with JiaMin and all, where Jiamin will overturn pencil case. All thanksto VoonJin's prank to JiaMin. A lot of our pencil cases were overturned. JiaMin told me to draw a diagram and ended up saying Xinyi had a better one! SAD! Biology lessons were extremely interesting though. I learnt two new words today though. Adhesion and cohesion. Examples will be Sam and VoonJin are an 'adhesion' pair and my 'cohesion' clique is always mixing around together. Those who are listening in class will know the meanings of it.
And regarding to Jiamin's question:
Do vascular bundle multiply after it grows?
The answer is YES.
Explanation:
As plants grow, cambium will divide themselves. Part of the cambium will form the phloem while some will form the xylem.
This was the somewhat rough explanation given by Miss Tang. She had also said she would clarify with the class on this.
After biology lessons, we needed to present our presentation for biology which took a very long time as the projector was faulty. When it was my turn, everyone has dispersed and left with my group, the last to present for the day. It was tiring.
I still had left one math which i had not done. With my headache, I am not sure whether i am able to think. Well, I will try to...
P/S: Jiamin,, Bernie today find you and thought I was lying you went home. Please clarify matters for me. Thanks. And spam my PLURK!!
